Entrepreneur and business consultant Ayanna Williams-Jones has made an impact in numerous capacities and fields, a testament to her unrelenting ambition and years on the grind. Born in Brooklyn, Ayanna spent her younger years bouncing between Detroit and New York City.

Ayanna learned at a young age that the only way to make your dreams come true was to chase them. By the time she was 18, her own hustler’s spirit kicked in and Ayanna launched her own business which she talks about in her book The Detroit Madam, where she details the highs and lows of working in the entertainment industry for nearly a decade.

From there, Ayanna used her capital to pursue other ventures. She grew interested in real estate—working as a loan officer and later in processing—which gave way to her starting her own brokerage firm, while she did business consulting on the side. “Then the recession hit,” she remembers, and she moved into corporate America as a Fleet Manager for General Motors, managing multi-million dollar accounts.

Ayanna became known as the go-to person for not only superior customer service, but also a strong working knowledge of various facets of business. While at General Motors, she opened her Day spa, Pedicure & Shoes 2 Go in downtown Detroit—a uniquely combined manicures, pedicures, and shoe shopping. Concurrently, the business gems she learned from GM, she applied to her own business until the time finally came where she could seamlessly move to running her day spa full time.

Currently, Ayanna Williams-Jones has her hands in multiple businesses. While becoming an author and planning for her debut as an movie-producer, she also helps business owners manage and set-up their Short-term (Airbnb) rental properties. Her goal is to help others like you start a successful hosting journey so you don't have to struggle for answers like she did in the beginning.
